Safety, Training and Mental Health

Safety-A close friend of mine had a trench wall collapse on him while building his home 25 years ago, With thirty sum surgeries and opioid prescription for over 20 years, safety is paramount for our trades. 4 out of the top 10 most dangerous jobs in America are in the trades.

Training-The opportunity to train the trades gives a feeling of accomplishment and is self rewarding.

Mental Health-In the United States, Mental Health is considered a crises along with the construction being one of the Industries with one of the highest rates. A team mate of mine in High School was in the construction industry and committed suicide about a decade ago. Leaving a wife and 4 children. It hurts to think that some help could have avoided this tragedy.
