Matthew Moran

- As a post-stander for HMX-1, I am directly responsible for the security of Level III Presidential Transportation Assets, administering access control through badging and vehicle inspection when coming aboard any of our facilities or restricted areas. Ensuring my team of Marines is ready for the no-fail mission in support of HMX-1 and the White House Military Office.

- As a Special Reaction Team Leader, I am directly responsible for the physical security detail of all Level III Presidential Transportation Assets during active and inactive transport. Also, supporting the Secret Service during contingency responses and having the ability to employ non-lethal, lethal, breaching, and evacuation medical equipment capabilities. It is my responsibility to create and submit top-secret contingency response plans to the Secret Service. This includes reconnaissance of emergency landing zones, routes, and safe houses.

- Senior dispatcher and surveillance operator for multiple top-secret secure facilities, leading to the safety and security of Presidential Transportation assets, and hundreds of personnel. Tasked with facility oversight, access control, badge verification, along with counter-UAS operations.

- Acclimated to working shifts of twelve hours, involving static and roving posts, while under a heavy load.

- Regularly worked with federal and state law enforcement and military entities to accomplish critical presidential missions.

- In charge of numerous Marines for their day-to-day operational success, personal, professional growth, and well-being.

- As a Fire Team Leader, I am familiar with team-focused operational dynamics for emergency/active shooter response, casualty care, tactical room clearing, and mobilized/static security.

- Conducted numerous high-volume weapon transport operations under arms.
