· Manage all aspects of regulatory compliance, including 49 CFR Parts 217, 219, 225, 228, 239, 240, 242, 243, and 270.

· Maintain and update all plans to ensure compliance with FRA and TSA regulations.

· Collaborate closely with the Training Supervisor to develop an annual training plan that meets the requirements of CFR Parts 240 and 242.

· Annually review all training provided throughout the year and update the training as needed to ensure that all requirements and new regulations are included in the training courses.

· Work with other supervisors and management on field testing and joint operational testing (with Amtrak, Metro-North, CSX, G&W, FRA, and CTDOT) to ensure rules compliance.

· Collaborate with other host railroads to set up and perform joint testing along the CTrail Hartford Line corridor. This involves setting up locations along the corridor, working with the host railroad to develop a test scenario, and performing the joint test. Additionally, work closely with multiple regulatory agencies (i.e., FRA/TSA) and CTDOT to ensure that all CTrail trains comply with all operating rules and regulations.

• Responsible for the daily operations of the CTrail trains, which include managing a crew of 18 members and overseeing 16 trains a day
• Key duties involve: Conducting T&O testing and training to ensure compliance with NORAC and CFR rules
• Maintaining records of engineer and conductor certifications
• Collaborating with other supervisors and management on field testing and joint operational testing (with Amtrak, Metro-North, CSX, G&W, and CTDOT) for rules compliance
• Training crew members on new rules and policies related to CTrail operations
• Performing check rides and training as a DSLE for all CTrail engineers
• Scheduling time off, training sessions, and extra trains requested by the agency
• Responding to incidents on the railroad, including broken-down equipment and service interruptions.

• Responsible for the daily operations of the Tri-Rail trains, which include managing a crew of 100 members and overseeing 50 trains a day
• Key duties involve: Conducting T&O testing and training to ensure compliance with CSX Rules and CFR rules
• Maintaining records of engineer and conductor certifications
• Collaborating with other supervisors and management on field testing and joint operational testing (with Amtrak, CSX, and FDOT) for rules compliance
• Training crew members on new rules and policies related to Tri-Rail operations
• Performing check rides and training as a DSLE for all Tri-Rail engineers
• Responding to incidents on the railroad, including broken-down equipment and service interruptions.

• Responsible for the daily operations of the Coaster trains, which include managing a crew of 20 members and overseeing 22-24 trains a day
• Key duties involve: Conducting T&O testing and training to ensure compliance with GCOR and CFR rules
• Maintaining records of engineer and conductor certifications
• Collaborating with other supervisors and management on field testing and joint operational testing (with Amtrak, Metrolink, BNSF, Pacific Sun, and NCTD) for rules compliance
• Training crew members on new rules and policies related to Coaster operations
• Performing check rides and training as a DSLE for all Coaster engineers

• Programming and testing simulations using the COREYS PTC simulator for training and testing purposes
• Qualified as a DSLE.

• As a Coaster crew member, I was responsible for the safe handling of the trains
• I worked on various special trains, including ballast trains, geometry trains, and test trains
• I have operated Coaster equipment on both the Escondido and San Diego subdivisions.

• Responsible for the safe handling of freight on the San Diego and Escondido subdivisions
• Collaborated with mechanics to perform locomotive repairs
• Qualified as a DSLE.

• Responsible for maintaining Coaster equipment, including tasks ranging from 92-day inspections and minor repairs to heavy repairs such as changing wheels on Coaster equipment and replacing main generators on locomotives.

• Managed 5 welders where we fabricated and welded frames for offroad racing seats.
