Water for Life Program 2022 through Ceiba

  • Two-week service-learning course on the coast of Ecuador, highlighting the interconnections between human use of water resources and health. "Studied land management practices on water quality, community-based water quality monitoring, and learned the epidemiology of water-borne pathogens that impact human health in rural communities."
  • Field study research (collection of water samples in Ecuador, analyzing samples, and providing conclusions of water quality). Visited different health facilities on the Manabí Coast and spoke to community members about health accessibility across two different rural villages.
