Primary responsibilities include:

• Maintaining clinical work flow for over 1500 primary care patients.
• Establishing documentation of patients health care assessments during in clinic, telephone, and virtual visits.
• Ensuring patients primary healthcare needs are met through disease management, preventive care, and patient education.

Duties performed include;

• Measuring/recording vitals
• Administering IV/IM/ PO medications
• IV administration
• Portions of medical treatment including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Responsible for performing pre-flight/in-flight patient care and documentation, as well as preparing patients, equipment, and aircraft for flight
• Aeromedical Evacuation Technicians are vital in delivering care in events of medical and/or aircraft emergencies, as well as ensuring increased success returning service members, their families, and contractors back home for higher level of care
• Currently still serving.

Emergency Department Technician responsibilities included;

• Administering patient care under direction and supervision of registered nurses for 20 bed STEMI and Stroke Center
• Assisting with care plans set by nurses and physicians by managing individual needs of patients while performing various direct and indirect patient care in order to establish and increase patient flow while delivering exceptional service

Responsibilities included;

• Greeting patients
• Documenting vital signs
• Obtaining history of present illness, past medical history, documenting encounter via emergency medical records
• Wound care/treatment
• Blood draws
• IV fluid administration
• Splinting/casting
• IM/PO medication administration
• Collect biological specimens and packaged for laboratory transport to complete important diagnostic tests
