Accomplishments

As a student I collaborated with two others to come up with a solution to a real-world problem. We decided to tackle the problem of children with physical disabilities lacking the motor skills to properly perform a curling motion with their arms. We utilized CAD and 3D sketches to model a curling machine that simulated bowling. We built and tested a prototype that allowed us to develop and hand-deliver a final product to Stephen Knolls School for the disabled. Seeing the kids using our device showed me just how much I can better peoples lives by using my passion for engineering.
