  • In the Technical Team Lead Roll I helped launch the transition from Lehigh Valley PA to Champaign Il for the A-1 Processing line.
  • My roll was instrumental in the success of the A-1 Transition to having a very successful start up process.
  • Once up and running, I was responsible for the A-1 process improvement and day to day functions of the operation.
  • While helping the Line Lead with the day to day functions of running the department and supporting all three shifts, I also guided the teams with troubleshooting problems, quality related concerns, helped R & D with reformulation troubleshooting, and was a leader in the sanitary design process.
  • Other projects I worked on were Topa Loss Reduction And Glass Waste Reduction.
  • I developed processes to help reduce and eliminate waste coming from the department and streamline the topa waste process to reduce ~25% of the waste used to unload each tote of topa.
  • Glass waste was reduced by ~10% through data collection to identify loss points and set inplace controls.
  • I also drove the LOTO standards, training, and visual displays throughout the department.

  • While working for the Pasta department I was the shift leader for 3rd shift.
  • I managed the day to day function of the shift that included; payroll, scheduling, sanitation duties, day to day operations of all 6 base camp lines, 2 lines for emme, 6 pasta drying processes, flour receiving, and all heat treatments and fumigations for the department.
  • At the time there were 93 employees that reported to me on a daily basis and I guided the shift through some really trying times.
  • I organized meetings to coordinate various activities involving multiple departments.
  • These meetings ranged anywhere from a daily DDS to scheduling heat treatments.
