I have spent five years in the military as an 11B Infantryman, gaining valuable experience in leadership and technical operations. For the past three years, I served as a vehicle commander in a Stryker brigade, where I was responsible for overseeing operations and maintaining the readiness of advanced military vehicles. My role required me to use CSAD and VDET screens and tablets for Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) to ensure equipment stayed fully operational. During deployments, I developed the ability to make critical decisions under pressure while leading teams in challenging environments. This experience has sharpened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. I have also gained a strong understanding of technology and logistics, playing a key role in ensuring mission success. These skills are something I’m eager to bring into a new professional setting as I transition into the civilian workforce.
