As a cross trained MLT generalist I'm able to fulfill duties in all departs such as, serology, urinalysis, microbiology, hematology, coagulation, chemistry, blood bank, and processing. My main responsibilities in the clinical lab were to assure I produce accurate and reliable patient results in a timely manner, that all the quality control was ran per our lab SOPs, and that daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance is done correctly and documented, and also to maintain a culture of safety with my peers in the lab.
