  • In charge of manufacturing for a $100M state of the art electronics manufacturing company containing 60,000 Sq. Ft. of manufacturing space and over 125 manufacturing personnel. On time delivery for products produced in Fort Worth over 99%.
  • Responsible for assisting with technology and production transfers from Israel including participation in production readiness and program reviews with the Israeli Defense Forces and other customers. Products successfully transferred from Israel include: VRC-120, VRC-121, and VRC-122 Radios for the IDF, PRC-149 Survival Radios and URT-140 Beacons for Spectralink, Common Intelligence Display II for the Bradley fighting vehicle, Super Tucano Multi-Function display for Embraer, and the Mission Processor computer for the Apache helicopter.
  • Responsible for assisting with technology and production transfers from Engineering including participation in production readiness and program reviews with customers. Products successfully transitioned to production from Engineering include: UHF/VHF Power Amplifier for the Joint Strike Fighter, DMR-100 Watt and DMR-200 Watt Power Amplifiers, TC-100LR Power Amplifier, TC-100D Power Amplifier, and the TC-150 Power Amplifier.
  • Participate quarterly in Operations Joint Management Council with parent company in Israel to streamline processes and eliminate quality issues. The results of this initiative has been a 20% reduction in the number of late and defective products being received as well as better communications between the facilities.
  • Selected by the Executive Leadership Team to participate in Elbit Systems of America high potential “Innovation Leadership Team” program that recognizes and grooms select individuals within the organization.
  • Drove a culture of safety including weekly safety walks with action plans, safety awareness during daily manufacturing stand up meetings, and “Time out for safety” messages on our monitors throughout the production floor. The enhanced focus on safety has resulted in 3.8 million hours worked without a lost time accident and 2.2 million hours worked without an OSHA recordable incident.
  • Operations lead for AS-9100 and Government compliance activities and external audits which resulted in no major findings.
  • Drove significant improvements in quality, on time delivery, and process improvements by automating data collection to allow real time data analytics. Created a visual shop floor layout that focuses on process flow and allows for minimal facility changes when one product ends production and another begins.
  • Review and approve all operational basis of estimates prior to submittal for pricing, some of these programs were in excess of $200M. These estimates included both recurring production and non-recurring efforts such as standing up test equipment, fixtures, tooling, production test, test plans, first article/qualification efforts, and travel as needed for transition programs.
  • Trained all of our assembly personnel to IPC-610 as well as J-STD making everyone responsible for the quality of our products. This has resulted in improved quality metrics internally with customer simulation audit yields improving from 90% to over 98% and externally with warranty returns improving from 2.64% to .87%.
  • Work with union committee members to resolve any concerns regarding the collective bargaining agreement. Part of operations team that worked with the union to resolve any unsettled grievances that went to arbitration. The result of fostering an honest relationship and abiding by the collective bargaining agreement was zero grievances in 2016.
  • Responsible for providing tours of manufacturing facility to all customers and VIP’s.
  • Manufacturing lead responsible for successful implementation of Manufacturing Execution System upgrade in 2016. The Manufacturing Execution System allows for real time shop floor data collection as well as: automated production file access from our configuration management data base, ESD verification, FOD acknowledgement, assembly traceability, ECO update, and shop floor planning module.
