The company and union have each selected one person to serve as an EI Director. The EI Directors will be partnered throughout the life of the EI Program. It is their job to plan, organize, and lead in the development and implementation of the EI Program, and assist the Steering Committee in setting the goals and objectives of the EI Program. At the direction of the Steering Committee, the EI Directors will form and implement EI Teams and other related teaming techniques. They will assist in selecting teams, training methods, and performance evaluation criteria The EI Directors will serve as administrators of the EI Program. They will be catalysts to encourage the change efforts. They will give feedback to and, when needed, confront leaders to align their actions to the new direction. It is their job to teach the change theory and skills for new roles and to leverage each aspect of the EI process to create maximum change and benefit to the parties.

The EI Facilitator is responsible for guiding the team's development process. The EI Facilitator leaves the meeting content to the team. The EI Facilitator will provide 8 hours training to Team Leaders and Alternates (incrementally) outside meetings within 2 weeks of elections. (Team Leaders and Alternates receive training 1 time only) The EI Facilitator: ● Provides EI subject matter expertise as a neutral third party ● Provides Team assessments as a neutral 3rd party ● Helps identify and connect the team to resources including learning opportunities ● Assists team in recognizing and attending to team dynamics ● Encourages the team to take ownership of issues that affect their business ● Helps generate solutions by identifying options, processes and tools ● Teaches the team to be self-facilitating ● Provides EI Training to Teams Clear RAA for the EI Team Leader role will be documented and posted prior to elections by the facilitator. EI Facilitators will ensure Team Leader Elections are held every six months. EI Facilitators will receive training from the EI Directors.
