As a mentee in Gemify Academy, I learned about financial trading, such as Forex, cryptocurrencies, and DeFi, as well as trading strategies.

I had the opportunity to intern at my family's farm in Kenya. During the internship, I learned that the farm was facing a challenge in expanding its operations. I single-handedly created a website for the farm (http://www.rostonfarm.com/), and the results of the digital expansion were immediate. The farm saw an increase in customers and a concomitant increase in sales. This was a pivotal movement in igniting my interest in finance,

Engaged with peer mentors who build social networks, foster community, introduce mentees to resources and opportunities, and help make our very large campus feel much smaller.

BSA is a student organization that supports Black students on campus. As a member, I engaged in study groups, mentorship, networking with alumni, and workshops that helped me succeed academically.

• Coordinated food drives for improved local food bank stock levels.
• Assisted in disaster relief efforts, ensuring timely distribution of aid and supplies.
• Assisted with special events and programs.
• Communicated with staff members to stay informed about volunteer opportunities and events.

I volunteered at a program called Vacation Bible School. VBS is an opportunity for kids to engage in Bible lessons and fun activities in the summer.
