Deal Booker

Ken Ganley CDJR Mentor
2023.08 - Current

Description:

  • The deal booker's main priority is to make sure all the finances of each deal (Sold Vehicle) are organized and applied to correct accounts within our accounting program CDK. Each deal is then finalized and is sent to corporate Ken Ganley.

Duties within role:

  • Engaging and meeting with Sales and Finance mangers to make sure each deal is processed in a timely manner with all the documents needed for the deal to be finalized.
  • Entering and calculating all the finances of each deal and posting them into our accounting software CDK.
  • Calculating commissions for each sales person and finance manger on each sold vehicle.
  • Ensuring down payments, rebates, and warranties are all accounted for.
  • Receipting customers down payments and lease payments
  • Calling banks to retrieve payoff quotes for traded in vehicles
  • Paying off all trade in vehicles with a active lien holder or lease
  • Making sure all documentation has been signed and collected from sales people and finance mangers to ensure the customer will receive rebates from Chrysler for their purchased vehicle.
  • After all this information is collected, it is then entered into CDK, our accounting software, when I would then calculate all these expenses to ensure and confirm whether we are profiting or losing money on each deal.
  • This process is done with each vehicle that is sold. The average monthly sales at Ken Ganley CDJR is between 300-400 sold units. So I am doing this process roughly 300 to 400 times a month.
