Dental Assisting Radiographer Certificate

As a dental hygiene student at Sinclair Community College from 2022 to  2024, I gained practical experience that enhanced my skills and  knowledge. Collaborating with the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base  exposed me to diverse dental hygiene settings. Volunteering at a Latino  Wellness Festival at the Sinclair Dental Hygiene booth highlighted the  program's commitment to community care. Throughout the program, I  developed proficiency in tasks such as conducting periodontal  examinations, using digital sensors for radiographs, placing sealants,  taking impressions, and fabricating whitening trays. My training also  included dental charting, personalized oral hygiene instruction, and  diagnostic impressions. I acquired hands-on experience in administering  local anesthesia and chemo-therapeutic treatments. These experiences  shaped me into a competent dental hygienist, emphasizing the importance  of community service in oral health.
