Matthew Singleton

I am an organized and dependable candidate who is adamant about teaching and developing students into future leaders of our community. I am passionate about teaching literacy skills and grammar while critically analyzing texts. I am capable of managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. I am willing to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals. In my class, I will strive to create an atmosphere reflecting honor and respect through virtues; this can only happen if I emulate what I teach. I believe I’m a desirable candidate for this teaching position because I’m passionate about providing quality instruction and willing to listen to constructive critiques.

 I love to spend time with my wife, Eadie, of twelve years, and two kids; they are number one in my life. I like hiking or swimming in the river if the weather allows it. I enjoy reading novels with my kids; the last book we read was Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. I’m fond of reading manga (Japanese comics) and playing video games occasionally.
