Recognition

  • A Emergency Medicine Physician nominated myself and the team for the Spirit of Teamwork award.
  • "A severe burn was brought by EMS to the ED, it was later learned that it was a pediatric patient who would then need to be transferred to Nationwide Children's Hospital. The ED, Trauma Surgery, Burn Surgery, ENT Surgery and Anesthesia providers and staff came together at the bedside to care for this severely ill patient who ultimately required multiple interventions prior to transfer. These teams came together with respect and professionalism to provide the best care possible including multiple providers coming down to the ED from inpatient floors to help in the care of this critical patient. It was amazing to see the teamwork and collaboration even in this high acuity, critically ill and emotional situation."
  • A Pulmonary Disease Critical Care Physician sent me a thank you E card for the multidisciplinary, timely, caring and collaborative care during a critical care case on a patient.
