One of my major achievements was joining the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Program (JROTC) with my current school Ridge Community High School. During my sophomore year of high school I decided to join the program and was very interested in becoming a part of the national winning drill team. I quickly realized that hardwork and dedication as well as leadership and incorporating myself within the team made me a more productive person. I also learned how to be part of a team as well as win as a team with constant hardwork to achieve a national championship win in May of 2024. Being on this team I gained more leadership skills and obtained the rank of sergeant, discipline, and how to work hard to achieve my goals not only as a individual but also as a team. This year in 2025 we were unable to win the national championship in Daytona but I learned through trial and error that with positivity, consistency, and dedication with myself and my peers we will strive to achieve our next goal in my senior year. Not only am I proud of all my wins with the team but I am also proud of my loses because I view them as ways to improve not just for myself but as a team.
