Work History

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Panasonic Energy
03.2025 - Current
  • Working on the maintenance team has given me a wealth of knowledge on the practical side of how to implement safety procedures. I keep safety as my top priority as a continue to work here. I have even worked with the safety team here to help develop a way to safely dispose of hazardous waste, and my knowledge of MSDS has helped to improve their PPE inventory to now include gloves that will reduce the risk of chemical burns to our production team. My experience in training has helped me develop ways to standardize the training for people going into the maintenance field. I do my best to try and share my past knowledge with my co-workers, so they have a better understanding of their responsibilities when it comes to reporting safety issues. This job has given me the training and experience to work with an assortment of different tools, and how to use them properly.

EHS TECHNICIAN/TRAINING COORDINATOR

Tesla Gigafactory
02.2021 - 04.2024
  • Most of my time at Tesla I spent working directly with the production team. Either training the associates on how to perform their tasks or supporting their leadership on how to make their areas more efficient and safer. When I was a Training Coordinator my task was to help the associate understand their new assignments so we could quickly and efficiently train anyone to work anywhere. While I was an EHS Technician my responsibility was to ensure the health and safety of the entire factory and surrounding warehouses for the night shift. I documented every injury and took steps to ensure that the same incident could not happen twice. I also supported the environmental team with projects to help with soil retention and carbon remission. I was able to work with the engineering and ergonomics teams to develop new ways to perform tasks that will put less strain on our production workers. I really got to develop my Excel and PowerPoint skills with the different projects I was assigned to, from updating fire safety ratings to rerouting evacuation directions.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

S.T. Services
12.2018 - 02.2021
  • S.T. Services is a reclamation and excavation company that took contracts for the BLM and mineral rights companies. The majority or our jobs were to create and maintain a road and multiple work pads for the different companies to do their work, and then we would reclaim the land to its original state. I operated and maintained several different pieces of heavy equipment including but not limited to dozers, backhoes, and transport trucks. I was also in charge of the crew whenever the owner was not on site. The crews would usually consist of 2-4 people at a time. I learned how to be an effective leader through my time here. These jobs had little room for error since they were dangerous jobs done in the middle of nowhere, but I can say with pride that I never had an injury accident while I was in charge. This job has given me a lot of experience working around heavy equipment in a safe manor.

SEWER MAINTENANCE TEMPORARY ASSISTANT

city of reno public works
06.2018 - 12.2018
  • While working for the city of Reno my job duties were to maintain the ditches and waterways by removing any debris that had built up in the area. Clearing the area of weeds and bush we worked mostly with landscaping gas power tools. Clearing the area of trash and debris built up by the homeless had us working directly with the public and the municipal police. I always maintained a professional manner and was able to achieve my work goals in harsh environments and extreme weather with effective use of time management. Working around a diverse group of people I maintained an excellent working relationship with all my immediate coworkers.
