- As Chief of Police of this federally recognized Tribal Police Department, I am responsible for restructuring and building a police department with officers that are trained and qualified to deal with the upcoming challenges of a new large-scale hospitality, hotel and casino project. My responsibilities also include ensuring the safety of Table Mountain Tribal Members, the Rancheria, its employees, and casino guests.

- As the Clovis Chief of Police, I was responsible for the safety and well-being of the residents of Clovis and all Police Department personnel. In my capacity as Chief, I managed 175 employees (sworn and civilian) as well as over 100 volunteers. My responsibilities included successfully administering the Department’s $29 million dollar budget and ensuring those funds entrusted to the police department were spent efficiently.
- As Chief, I worked with Command Staff, officers and community members to provide effective leadership and collaboratively develop strategies to maintain our safe community. My priority was always to keep Clovis the #1 Safest Community; a designation still enjoyed today. In addition, I developed and implemented new and creative ways to ensure the continuity of the department’s operations, the safety of the community and the morale of our officers, especially during challenging times.
