Armor Installation
• set-up and prepping of vehicle to insure readiness for armor install
• scanning and documentation of proper armored pieces to dedicated serial numbers per government demands
• fitting and installation of armor to military vehicle
• build-up and installation of winch system to vehicle
• set-up and calibration of tooling and gage lab equipment
• repair of all calibrated tooling from the floor
• upkeep of all calibration records and schedule of maintenance
• vendor communication regarding ordering and outside repairs
• inspection of both incoming and incoming-process materials using variety of tools… micrometer, caliper, paint scratch test, etc…
• first piece and sample load inspection per government standards
• on call decisions on assembly line concerning go/no go
