Served and tended bar in a fast paced, high volume restaurant where reading the wants and needs of customers, and staying organized are paramount.

Served and Bartended in a small, cozy Irish pub. This more intimate setting provided time to build a relationship with each patron creating repeat customers.

Helped open a smash burger restaurant through the struggles of Covid. This provided its own unique set of challenges including learning social media management, creating a menu, setting up a Clover POS, integrating Uber Eats and maintaining the Covid mandates.

Was hired back to run the bar. This included bartending, assisting owners in ordering alcohol , modifying the drink menu and coming up with different specials every week. I was also responsible for closing the restaurant down for the night.

Started as a bartender but was quickly moved to bar manager then FOH manager, then into a general management roll. Scheduling staff appropriately and streamlining the guest experience were significant parts of my final position.

Served both large banquet style parties and regular table service. Was responsible for both set up and tear down / reset of banquet room for each party, upkeep of the bar, and all sidework when on regular service.

Make your guest feel at home from the moment they open the door. Greet them with a smile, make conversation with them on the way to the table and introduce the server. Keep the restaurant neat and empty tables ready for customers. Give the guest a fond farewell.

This pizzeria had both counter service as well as sit down table service. As a server you had to be able to work both positions. Taking orders quickly and correctly was essential in this high paced environment.

In my first year i was assigned a park and was responsible for its general upkeep. In my second year i was placed on the rec team which is responsible for the upkeep of all the sporting fields and courts in all the parks.

Was responsible for preparing, organizing, transporting, setting up and serving catering jobs, collecting payment and insuring customer satisfaction.
