This position at the Waverly Newspapers, is a full-year internship required for my bachelors degree in Journalism and Communication through Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa.
As a student reporter, I look and research for stories within the Waverly community and write for the Waverly Newspapers. This internship has helped me to strengthen my writing capabilities and even photography skills.

As a Public Affairs Mass Communications Specialist, I have been trained to create a variety of content for the Army. That is written stories, photos, video products, graphic design products and training in regards to civilian media. I attended the Defense Information School in February of 2024 until July of 2024 where I received my training and my occupational certification. I currently work for the Iowa Army National Guard's only public affairs unit, the 135th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment. I personally specialize in videography, photography and written story telling.
