*Started as a lead for Inner layer audit and inner layer preclean.
*Later switched to lead for AOI/PEP and audit.
*Then was moved into inner layer print and also was lead for DES/Preclean.
*Applied for and was hired in finishing as a lead.
*As an inner layer lead, I helped the transition to processing by layer and using lean manufacturing practices. I headed many quality and throughput improvement projects and then helped PEP/AOI through the difficult challenges after TTM took over.
*As a lead in finishing my team was widely recognized as the best crew in the factory. This in part lead to a promotion to supervisor.
*I led a wide variety of employees from all over the world and learned a great deal about how to interact with different cultural backgrounds. I managed to transition smoothly through tense environments as I had members of my crew in AOI and Finishing who had been demoted to operator from lead as I took over the lead positions.
*Participated in many leadership training seminars, lean Kaizen events and yield improvement projects.
Worked as a test tech and then moved to a lead position in 2000. Moved to a supervisor position in 2002. I did my crews timecards, assisted in hiring/discipline and was a contact at night for Merix as well as other sites in the Mania group. Worked closely with Final audit and rework as well as finishing and the expeditors. Was highly regarded and recruited heavily to move over and work for Merix.
