Border Patrol Tactical (BORTAC) Operator tasked with serving high risk warrants, conducting both fixed and mobile surveillance, personal security and Quick Reaction Force (QRF) response, hostage rescue, tracking and interdiction of individuals attempting to enter the United States illegally.


  • Acting Team Leader within Special Operations Group (SOG) BORTAC.
  • Assisted with the United States Border Patrol's first ever hostage rescue mission in El Paso, TX (December 2024).
  • Participated in the manhunt and apprehension of Danelo Cavalcante (September 2023).
  • Participated in the manhunt and apprehension of Michael Burnham (July 2023).
  • Successfully completed both the Global Assets Integrated and BORTAC Explosive breaching courses.
  • Successfully completed the SOG BORTAC Freefall Course.
  • Certified in the use of UTVs, ATVs, and dirt bikes/motorcycles for the purposes of fulfilling the BORTAC mission.
