• Oversee multiple departments of the University including accounting and finance, student accounts, financial aid, facilities and events, safety, alumni relations, and human resources
• Served as sole member of accounting department and liaison with the health system when the University was a subsidiary of a Catholic health system
• Upon the University becoming a stand-alone entity, subsequently developed a full accounting team and led the transition to in-house accounting and payroll systems and processes
• Led the University in the development and creation of the institution's Retirement Plan (403b) including the selection of the retirement plan recordkeeper/custodian and development of plan documents
• Oversaw and prepared quarterly financial statements/reports and monthly budget to actual expenditures for distribution to senior management and departmental leaders
• Developed and instituted a line-item budgeting process involving all departmental leaders to ensure inter-departmental input in the annual operating budget
• Prepare and present annual operating and capital budgets to the University's Finance, Audit, and Compliance Committee (FACC) and Board of Directors (BOD) for approval
• Developed long-range financial budgeting model providing management, Committees, and Board members with greater clarity of financial forecasts for University strategic plans and initiatives
• Responsible for the University's exploration of new programming opportunities including feasibility studies, development of business plans and forecasts, as well as presentation of initiatives to respective University Committees and BOD for approval
• Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneur Operating System) management system.

• Commercial construction subcontractor specializing in waterproofing, caulking, and specialty coatings performing work primarily in the Midwest Region. Serviced more than 350 projects annually with revenue exceeding $9.5 million. Responsibilities included project staffing and scheduling, reviewing project budgeting and profitability with superintendents, and acting as primary liaison with general contractors and product manufacturers.

Trained and served as a Catholic priest in the Diocese at St. Isaac Jogues, Hinsdale, IL, and St. Michael, Wheaton, IL. Both parishes were large parishes with parish schools and annual budgets exceeding $3million. Served on various councils and committees devoted to parish life, financial stewardship, and capital and building projects. Served as Bishop's appointment on the Diocesan Budget Committee and the Diocesan Presbyteral Council (the representative body of the diocesan clergy), serving two terms as Vice-Chair.

Responsible for planning, execution, and summary of annual financial audits for privately and publicly held companies and corporate pension plans. Drafted reports and accounting system recommendations to corporate management. Supervised, trained, and directed staff auditors.
