Work-Life Balance

I am striving for a healthy Work-Life-Balance and my job plays THE major role in that.

My goal is live with but not just for my family and my passions.

One makes the other - being a caring father, responsible husband and a manager all relies on trust and it must be earned.

I prefer to work smart rather than hard; being efficient is the key to achieve my goals without spending endless hours in the office and the same I try to teach my employees.

To master complexity in this fast paced world is my motivation, challenges are fuelling my drive. Whether it's a complex problem at work or a high intensity workout afterwards - I enjoy to push myself to my limits and above with strong will and tough self-discipline.

Keeping the overview but also caring of the details where necessary counts in daily work as much as in my favorite hobby, scale modelling.

Allowing standstill is not an option as my career goes side by side with the business development and it is my obligation towards my employer but also my family to drive that development.

Allowing standstill is not an option as my career goes side by side with the business development and it is my obligation towards my employer but also towards my family to drive that development. I appreciate to work in a dynamic, flexible and fast paced environment allowing me to implement changes daily rather than following daily routines.

Yet I'm striving for a healthy work-life-balance which is for me as dynamic as my job shall be as changes bring me great pleasure.

My family is important to me but so is my career, ideally both can be combined, whether I can call Shanghai my home base or they join me on a business trip, there should be no limits in today's modern world of employment. I consider modern IT & communication networks as a key to efficiency allowing us to keep in touch wherever we are and thus I do use it excessively.
