Revived Spirits LLC
Casper, Wyoming
05.2019 - Current

I started Revived Spirits in 2019 while going to graduate school for Mental Health Counseling with the intention of it becoming my private practice for therapy services in the future.

While completing graduate school and state hours for my license, Revived Spirits engaged in the follow business:

  • I became certified to provide a variety of therapeutic modalities for horses including: Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF), Kinesiology Taping, Sports Massage, Thermal Imaging, and Raindrop Therapy.
  • Developed and implemented individualized training and rehabilitation plans for horses of varying ages, breeds, and experience levels.
  • Provided hands-on instruction in basic equine skills such as grooming, tacking up, ground work, and riding.
  • Maintained the records on each horse's progress including diet, exercise routine, medical treatment and vaccinations.
  • Instructed riders in proper riding techniques according to their skill level and desired goals.
  • Taught clinics to the public about natural horsemanship and gaining connection with horses.

Upon receiving my LPC in December of 2023, I took 2024 to begin building my private practice and re-brand Revived Spirits.

  • Location: Revived Spirits is located on 45 acres in Casper, Wyoming.
  • Facility: There is a large lobby, office, classroom, kitchen, bathrooms, and mudroom that is attached to a heated indoor arena. Outside, there is an eight stall barn, outdoor arena, two round pens, corrals, two loafing sheds, and three pastures.
  • There are 15 therapy horses, therapy dogs, and barn cats on site for animal assisted interventions with clients.
  • I provide mental health counseling for individuals struggling with severe trauma, PTSD, MDD, ADHD, and Family Dynamics.
  • Additionally, I have built an equestrian specific mental health program to aid in confidence recovery for equestrians who have been in equine related accidents.
  • Different methodologies are utilized including: equine-assisted, animal-assisted, polyvagal, somatics, CBT, ecotherapy, and IFS.
  • Records are maintained and superbills are created at the end of each month for clients.
  • Clients have the opportunity to customize their therapeutic approach. Clients have the option to engage in traditional in-office appointments, equine appointments, canine appointments, or outdoor appointments. Client's are able to mix and match their therapeutic experience to gain the most out of each session.

I continue to utilize my Bachelor's Degree in Equine Science and Certifications in alternative body work therapy for horses to ensure the horses utilized in my program are happy and healthy. Additionally, I provide rehabilitation for horses that have experienced abuse, emaciation, trauma, and injuries. I find these horses to be incredibly helpful additions in the program, as the majority of client's can relate to their troubled pasts.
