Maureen Adams Durkin

Responsible for an average caseload of 25 to 35 students. Developed Individual Education Plans(IEPs), attended Multidisciplinary Conferences, worked with parents and colleagues on developing and implementing IEP's. Created lesson plans based on the students specific goals and objectives. Lessons would include visual, auditory, kinesthetic and tactile components. Member of the Problem Solving Team, School Improvement Team, Ready Team and serve on the English Language Committee.

Worked as a Fourth Grade and First Grade Elementary Teacher. Worked with a grade level team of teachers to develop curriculum and lesson units. Average size class of 30 students. Enjoyed working on school committee to plan school wide family events.
