  • Teaching 75 minute classes three times a week - @ five to twelve girls (between the ages of 14-18) art techniques, creative prompts to support healing and growth
  • Creating and designing lesson plans directed to connect with students (where they are at a present moment and where they need to go) for optimum healing

Accomplishments

  • Created and piloted The Courage to Grow program - giving pre-teens knowledge and tools to find their voices through the arts

  • As a mother of a daughter with mental health challenges, developed program, unearthed a myriad of resources, advocated full time and walked the difficult journey of self and familial transformation
  • Developed therapeutic approaches to art at New Haven RTC, which began as simple art classes, delving deeper into expressionistic and experimental art forms
