  • Help create a scaled program providing healthy food to approximately 100 community members each month.
  • Helped in the planning, promoting, advertising, and communicating Jemez Public Health events in a communications team setting. Meetings were held twice a week to ensure events were planned out and advertised accordingly. Tasked and assigned duties to assist with the Jemez Public Health Program in its annual community events such as Jemez Endurance, Diabetes Awareness Fair, and Owl Springs 8.

  • Assisted the Water Resources Department with seasonal climate summaries by data collected through the Applied Climate Information System.
  • Completed a successful Climate Change Summit with the United Tribes Technical College TCU/VISTA.
  • Co-led community project in the Fort Yates district with a focus on educating tribal members on climate change. Conducted interviews.
  • Developed quarterly reports to AmeriCorps/VISTA to communicate outreach projects delivered to people at the project site and to set or renew goals for the upcoming quarter.
