As an inventory specialist my job is to ensure that all of the products that we send out are not stale. I restock the breakroom Sunday - Wednesday. I also cycle count every belt in Ges to ensure that every lane has the correct products and that the dates are good. It is my job to remove all chips that are have less than 21 days before stale date and 14 for nuts and etc. It is also my responsibility to respond to emails, coordinate with GES regarding putbacks, repack and the overall conditions of the GES belts. There are times when I am pulled for special projects such as FTC, Neo and holiday bags .
As a material handler it was my job to load and unload product with either a forklift or by hand on a conveyor belt. It was my job to certify loads as I picked them on the belts to ensure that customers received the correct orders on the correct trailers. It was also my responsibly to head special projects such as BAP. It was my responsibility to pull the correct products for the options , to wrap and label them properly and place them in the correct order sequence according to the trailer orders. While I was overseeing the day to day organization and productivity of the temps/full time works that were assigned to me and the BAP process. It was my duty to make sure that the correct orders went out and on time. I also came up with a coordinated process of putting back returns in GES to ensure that the product was returned to the belts in a faster method to ensure the freshness of the product previously picked . I am cross trained in the warehouse so I also floated wherever I was needed.
As the crewer for 5th shift it was my duty to make the daily schedules for team member assignments . I also approved /denied vacation according to the policy and the matrix for the department. I created daily powerpoints of need to know information such as; overtime, policy/department changes, upcoming events as well as crew outs. It was also my responsibility to track the attendance of every team member on my shift , to make sure they are clocked in , return from breaks on time and to take missed punch sheets to them to correct kronos. I also filled out pay adjustment sheets for slash bids as well as those who were paid incorrectly.
I coached team members on calls that were not going well . It was my responsibility to coach them into regaining control over calls. It was my duty to help the team member establish a rapport with the caller, coach them into finding out what the issue was and to get a resolution for the caller. When I wasn't walking the floor assisting team members, I would listen in on calls as well as get on the lines and help when the lines were flooded with callers.
