• Assess, plan, manage and evaluate patients and their care plans.

• Initiates “Time Out” to verify with the Operating Room Team the correct patient, procedure, site, position and complete equipment and implant/s prior to cutting time and performs Sign-out.

• This is an Ambulatory care center
• Provides professional nursing care to individuals undergoing OR procedure and surgery.
• Responsible for managing the nursing care of the patient within the operating room and coordinating the needs of the surgical team with other care provider necessary for completion of surgery.
• Ensure that operating room theaters are prepared and equipment function checked before and after case.
• Does the role of a scrub nurse, circulating nurse, post operative nurse and monitor overall status of patient perioperatively and postoperatively.
• Provide discharge instructions and health teaching to patient and family.

• Performs professional nursing care in accordance with the standard nursing procedure.
