When I was the music teacher in 2018 as a permanent substitute, I presented a drama co-written with my husband called, "Bully Street, the Wrong Way to Go." My students were encouraged and inspired inclusively to write original songs to the drama. A school- wide audition was conducted and participates were from grade levels K-6. The aforementioned drama above culminated with me as the Arts Academy lead for two years; I was responsible for writing and producing dramas and other showcases depicting scholars' talents through dance, step, flag chorography, singing, and visual arts. 0ther tasks and responsibilities included sponsoring the school's choir presentation of a Christmas Showcase and video before the state test, with the idea encouraging scholars to do their best!
