  • This Autism non-profit founded in 2014 is actually named after me and has been providing scholarship grants for families struggling to pay for educational, speech and occupational therapies for autistic children. It has so far provided more than $1.3 million in grants.
  • I am a spokesperson for our special events including our major fundraiser, our annual golf tournament.

  • As a person on the Autism Spectrum , I was asked by my amazing speech therapist of 10 years to come back and work in group settings to help assist non verbal and low verbal children with autism. We would work in group settings to model interactions and play games to initiate turn taking, stop and go sequences and sharing. All essential life skills with young children with limited abilities to communicate.

  • Worked with the Second Saturday Mothers and Sons, a volunteer program which worked with many community outreach organizations such as:
  • The Lions Club refitting glasses to send to countries across the globe.
  • Colleyville Senior Center - shopping for Christmas gifts and food supplies for seniors without any support or family.
  • CEC (Community Enrichment Center) in Hurst. Restocking the food pantry and distributing meals and groceries to families in need.
  • Feed the Children- helping to pack and distribute lunches to children over the summer who don't get to receive the food they normally would during a school day.
  • Worked with local pet shelters to help facilitate pet adoptions in the community at organized events.
