Virtual Enterprise Simulation - Mock Company CEO

  • My company, LUNCHBX, is a sustainable food service company dedicated to inclusivity in the lunchroom. Whether you are vegan, peanut-free, gluten-free, kosher, or halal, LUNCHBX has got you covered. We have created a healthy vending machine for schools, colleges, and office buildings that aims to provide alternative options to those who are underrepresented in pre-established food programs. Our food is fresh and gourmet, restocked every 2 days in our refrigerated vending machines. Some of our items include sandwiches, salads, yogurt, smoothies, and more to enhance your eating experience in a healthy way, Additionally, if you like our products, we offer an online service where you can get products delivered straight to your door in one of our box packages. Parents no longer have to stress about making the perfect lunches for their children, now we can do the dirty work for them with LUNCHBX.
  • Taking on the role as CEO of this company has given me an amazing opportunity to practice skills in communication and leadership in a business-like setting, and building on these skills now is an amazing experience that I know will assist me when I am in the workforce. Leading a team of 30 other kids for an entire school year taught me a lot about project management, the workplace environment, what roles different people in different positions fill, but perhaps most importantly, I learned the importance of collaboration when things get harder than normal, and that it is ok to ask someone to help you instead of thinking you can do it all yourself. This experience is one that I will never forget, and I am so grateful to have had this opportunity to thrive in a workplace setting before entering the real workforce.
