Job duties include being the superintendent over dockbuilders for two years.
Assist in running field operations overseeing multiple dockbuilder crews for driving sheeting at 15+ cofferdams, transitioned to the drilled shaft crew after driving sheeting.
5’ Dia and 6’ drilled shafts ranging from 80’-120’ in depth with rock sockets Crew drilled 179 drilled shafts on the job with no injuries throughout the duration of the work.
Furthermore, we had a 1% remediation rate, and had one the best actual cost to date compared to budget on the job.
Drilled shaft operation consisted of pushing casing, drilling overburden, pushing casing embedded into rock, drilling rock socket, airlifting shaft, setting rebar cages up to 125’, and tremie pouring concrete using pump truck and tremie pipe.
After the drilled shafts were complete I transitioned to building 73 columns with the duck under structure.
EFCO formwork was used and the columns were formed right on top of the drilled shafts.
Columns were done with EFCO formwork ranging from 25’-15’ tall.
After column work, Oversaw installation of shoring towers and decking for 3’ soffit within Duck Understructure, Performed falsework inspections and coordinated with crews on daily tasks.
Transitioned to wall construction within Duck Under Structure.

As part of a joint venture, Traylor was selected by New Jersey Transit to replace the existing swing span Portal Bridge over the Hackensack River in Hudson County, New Jersey with a new two-track fixed structure.
The project is 2.44 miles in length, including east and west plate girder approach spans totaling 6,200 LF.
The main span consists of 3 ea. 400 ft. network tied arches.
Footings for the bridge are supported by driven pile and drilled shafts.
The balance of the length of the project is on embankment with a variety of retaining walls including T-Walls, soldier pile walls, and cast in place concrete gravity walls.
Track, controls, and overhead catenary systems are included in the contract. (Skanska Traylor PNB Joint Venture, $1.56 billion).
