Commercial Real Estate Asset Management, Finance & Investment Professional
● Model financial concepts around NPV, IRR and discounted cash flow analyses.
● Work closely with property operations, leasing and development teams for input and guidance on business plans, budget reviews and cash flow forecasts used in valuation and investment analysis.
● Provide analytical and underwriting support when evaluating capital investments and business decisions: leases, tenant credit worthiness, reinvestment, new development projects and acquisition opportunities.
● Prepare investment theses, deliverables and financial exhibits to support investment decisions.
● Work with corporate finance on loan memos for refinancing and originations.
● Participate in preparing property business plans each year and monitoring asset performance against a variety of benchmarks, including: performance objectives, pro-forma cash flows, leasing goals and forecast yields; help drive analytical insights around operating and financial performance.
● Monitor market conditions, pricing trends and competitor research; collect market data/reports in support of business plans.
● Participate in quarterly property reviews and forecasts; create summary reports including budget variances, occupancy and leasing updates, operating expenses, capital expenditures and potential loan refinance implications.
● Underwrite commercial property mortgage modifications.
● Evaluate credit worthiness of borrowers.
● Review financial statements and market transactions to develop collateral valuations.
● Monitor and report on a portfolio of special assets.
