• Organize and facilitate regular meetings to gather student feedback and discuss strategies for overcoming common challenges faced by the first-gen community.
• Conduct outreach efforts to raise awareness of the First Gen Alliance's mission and to recruit new members and allies.

• Facilitate the integration of incoming first-year students into the SFSU counseling graduate program through personalized mentoring sessions.
• Share expert knowledge and resources pertinent to the counseling field, fostering academic and professional growth.
• Provide guidance on navigating campus resources, contributing to a smoother transition for mentees.
• Cultivate meaningful connections, offering wisdom and support to enhance the graduate experience of new students.

• Collaborate with the Counseling Department Chair to align graduation ceremony objectives with departmental goals and student expectations.
• Facilitate regular meetings with committee members to delegate responsibilities, track progress, and ensure adherence to planned timelines.
• Strategize and plan comprehensive graduation event details, from venue selection to ceremony protocol, ensuring a cohesive and celebratory atmosphere.
