Summary

I am a undergraduate honors student entering my first year at Northeastern University, pursuing a combined degree in Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering. As a John Martinson Honors Program student, I am eager to explore the interdisciplinary applications of engineering at the intersection of chemistry, biology, and medicine. I am particularly interested in how chemical engineering principles can be applied to biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and biomedical systems, and I look forward to developing both research and industry experience throughout my academic career.

Northeastern Electric Racing
Boston, MA
09.2025 - Current
  • Worked on the battery accumulator and transmission projects for the mechanical powertrain division of an FSAE racecar team.
  • Utilized SOLIDWORKS to design a motor guard mount and master transmission assembly, and CNC milling machines to manufacture weld tabs for accumulator attachment to the car chassis.
  • Built initial prototypes of accumulator units with various materials, such as steel, carbon fiber, and aluminum, while considering performance, durability, strength and weight reduction.

Roxbury Robotics Volunteer

Boys And Girls Club Of Roxbury
Roxbury, MA
09.2025 - Current
  • Mentored elementary school students in designing and building LEGO robots through hands-on STEM activities at the Boys and Girls Club of Roxbury.
  • Collaborated with Northeastern faculty and peers on delivering weekly robotics workshops at the Boys and Girls Club, and guide students through the basic engineering design process.
  • Helped organize and execute a campus showcase at Northeastern University's Curry Center where students presented their completed LEGO robots and various chosen STEM projects.

FTC Team Captain

Pioneer Robotics 12589
Shrewsbury, MA
09.2022 - 04.2025
  • Served as Captain of the secondary mechanical build team during the 2024-25 season, leading my robot team in design and construction of a competitive robot for the FTC game challenge.
  • Collaborated with external partners, including Coughlin Technologies, Fidelity Investments, and Trader Joes for sponsorships and resource acquisition, earning an FTC Connect Award for technical outreach efforts over the course of the season.
  • Worked with CAD software and 3D materials manufacturing during the 2022-23 FTC season and the 2023-24 FTC season.

Research Intern [Dai Lab]

Northeastern University Bioengineering Department
06.2024 - 08.2024
  • Contributor for 3-D bioengineering projects for endothelial cell and angiogenesis studies for Professor Guohao Dai's lab.
  • Manufactured highly elastic polymerized and highly elastic hydrogels and created miniature vascular channels through the use of 3-D bioprinters.
  • Researched the effects of mechanical stimulation and various stress-strains on bioprinted hydrogels, through analysis of turbidity data inside liquid gel models.
  • Maintained laboratory equipment and ensured compliance with safety protocols.
  • Participated in weekly lab meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and future directions of research initiatives.

Youth Tennis Coach

Win-Win Tennis Academy
Shrewsbury, MA
06.2022 - 08.2023
