EMPRO and Neuralert Trials

• Manage and track clinical data for a large-scale, blinded cardiac surgery trial, including longitudinal data collection across 5+ timepoints per patient.
• Contributed to 150+ patient enrollments within 1.5 years, supporting Penn Medicine as the leading enrollment site among 20+ national trial sites.
• Designed and implemented an automated Excel tracking system to predict patient follow-up windows, triggering alerts for opening/closing contact periods and streamlining study coordination workflows.
• Collect, clean, and validate patient data using EPIC EMR and REDCap.
• Screen and qualify patients using structured inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Conduct standardized neurocognitive assessments (MoCA, NIHSS, 3D-CAM).
• Randomize patients intra-operatively to the clinical trial while in the operating room, ensuring adherence to protocol requirements.

• Supported a clinical research study investigating the relationship between interoception and vocal production to advance voice rehabilitation research.
• Streamlined data collection workflows for acoustic, aerodynamic, electroglottographic (EGG), and fMRI data.
• Assisted with the setup, calibration, and operation of EEG and fMRI equipment to support standardized neuroimaging and physiological data acquisition.
