I have strong skills with managing situations that are demanding and require problem solving and decision making. I am confident in my skills and knowledge but am also able to ask for input when needed. Prior to my current position I have taken care of patients and residents of care facilities and have always been known to be compassionate. I am considered a leader among my co-workers. I have been the Employee of the Month in previous positions. I enjoy challenging work and pride myself on my ability to remain calm. I am a loyal employee and go out of my way to facilitate a workplace environment where there is fairness and everyone is considered valuable.
Receive and sort all phone calls, manage large amounts of tests and results and send information to appropriate persons or companies, verify insurance coverage, greet and register patients coming in for care. Identify which patients must be seen more urgently than others, notify providers. This is an extremely busy urgent care, especially since Covid began and the demand is quite high on a daily basis.

In this position I began as a caregiver and was soon promoted to Medication Aide. It was my responsibility to transcribe physician medication orders, administer the prescription medication and document all activity on a daily basis to approximately 50-60 patients/residents per day. I was also required to arrange for all medical transport to appointments for the residents of the facility and upon their return I collected the info from the visit so that all aftercare instructions, medication additions or changes and subsequent appointments could be arranged.
Supervisor: Rebecca Hankey 559-392-2152
I provided care in the homes of patients who were deemed eligible for private duty services through the State of Oregon health plan. This was for all age groups and services included bathing, feeding, dressing, maintaining a clean and safe environment, overseeing medication supply and documenting and communication the progress and needs of each patient to the State.
I provided care to a terminal patient which included food preparation and assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, conversation, and reassurance. I communicated her daily needs and activities to her family and worked for this family until she passed away.
