As a hospital transporter at John Muir Hospital, I am responsible for safely transferring patients between their rooms and various testing departments. I assist with discharges by helping patients safely transition into their vehicles. I work closely with nurses and CNAs to transfer patients onto gurneys, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. My primary focus is on the smooth and secure movement of patients, whether it's to tests, back to their rooms, or during discharge.
