Re-design of General Services Wide area network and Local area network. This included 13 different locations which required all new CAT 5 cabling in all State agencies rooms, offices and Datacenter. Also included all new Cisco layer 3 switches and Cisco ASA firewalls. I re-designed the network and implemented the entire network from scratch. This included 25 firewalls and 100 switches.
Re-design of VMWARE infrastructure from 32 standalone servers to 10 VMWARE host servers. The total Virtual servers were 80 Microsoft VM servers and 20 Linux VM servers.
After 1st Re-design of VMWARE infrastructure a second one was done and this included migrating all 10 VMWARE host servers to 5 Hyper convergence servers from HP. Hyper convergence servers allow a 10 to 1 data storage savings.

I was tasked with migrating the United States nuclear material data from an old legacy server to a new one. This included all the United States total nuclear data and knowledge unto a new server. The server chosen was a SUN Solaris SPARC Station with parallel processing. I The server was configured to last for a long time. It included the operating system on its own mirrored software RAID array and the DATA was on a RAID 5 software array. The operating system had 4 Processors dedicated to it and 10 processors for DATA processing using parallel processing.
2nd project was to retire the nation fastest super computer. I designed a 32 server cluster using DELL servers and using a Los Alamos National Laboratory custom code software to cluster an application. This was a unique cluster as the Servers were clustered using LINUX clustering and also application clustering. The goal was to make DNA sequencing faster so DNA could be calculated faster. This is far different than just a DNA test, this was to look inside the DNA tests and provide calculations of DNA and its makeup. The result was going from months waiting for a calculation to a day.
