I don’t have much work experience due to life circumstances but I’m very eager to be the best, full-time employee I can be. I’m used to standing on my feet for long hours. While I don’t have experience, I am mentally prepared for repetitive, fast-paced work. I wanted to apply to Amazon as a warehouse worker, but unfortunately they don’t accept applicants without a high school diploma.
My reasoning for the lack of a full HiSet (GED) is thanks to my Dyscalculia, a math learning disability. I have passed all other subjects and would like to complete the math portion as soon as I can.
I’ve only worked 1 case as a PCA due to relying on my boyfriend for transportation. Most PCAs work multiple in-home cases. It’s a job that I’m great at and like, but it’s not lucrative until I can attain a drivers license as well as a car. I may be a little behind at the age of 21, but I have attainable goals and a willingness to overcome obstacles.
