I am part of the opening team of this store, the Shack it big on quality gourmet food. One My dutys is food preparation, Every last ingredient is inspected one by one, by my hands to ensure quality for taste, and preparing the prep efficiently. I am sign off one knowing all positions in the restaurant aswell. I am currently working towards a team cross trainer.
My responsibilities was to sell, fill, ring. I greeted and demo some product for the costumers as they walked in. When there was no costumers I would be restocking ,and organize the products. I would also prepare online orders. There was a lot of products and it was my job to answer any questions the costumers had. I would talk with the costumers to find what they are looking for. There was always new sales going on each day that I would push sales for as well. On the register I would ring up costumers ,and ask for personal information for the store membership. I would also process returns as well.
I greeted costumers, Listening and, and help the Costumers with any questions they have. I worked all positions from the food prep to handing out the orders. I am very proficient at multitasking, and my attention to detail. I also trained new employees. I would close the lobby, I would clean, scrub, polish and sanitize all surfaces from the light to the floor. I before close I would check for food safety, I would check to make sure all equipment was functioning right, along with check food temperature. I would prepare the store for the next day.
My job responsibilities was to, clean all surfaces, restocking the soda fountain and maintain it as well. I also had to count and restocking tabacco products and keep inventory of those products. I have unload truck orders and put away the orders. I have paced the truck orders as well. I cleaned bathroom as well as maintain the bathroom hourly. I would sweep inside and out the store. I have cleaned up the parking lot, and clean the gas pump. I empty the trashes outside and inside the store. I would greet, and collect costumers payments. The store had a drive through I would work as well, making drinks and collecting payments as well. We served hot food that I had to maintain and check the temperature, and discard old products. Along with this was part of the grand opening of this store.
I open the restaurant as well as prepare the food for the day, along with start up the shake machine, and putting together the store for the day. I was responsible for getting the tills for the day. I would welcome and great the costumers, I would also running drive thur, and front counter. I would then put the orders and hand them out to the costumers. I Maked sure all item remain stocked. At this restaurant there was no managers just the owner and his wife. We as a team were responsible for working as a team and respecting each other's opinions. We had our own responsibilities and ready to help each other out when needed.
I prepared orders, and took orders on both front and drive thru. Along with taking phone call orders, and preparing online orders. I was also in charge of the tills, and making the bank deposits. I had to count the tills to make sure all numbers matched with the money in the tills. I have experience with opening and closing the store.
