Processing blast hole and daily slurry samples in various ways to obtain gold results, mainly Cyanide, Acid, Leco, and Fire Assay. We do a lot of QC testing on our machines to ensure they are functioning properly and within spec to give a high quality result to the customer. Wearing the proper ppe for the task is very important in this job. Our work areas are inspected thoroughly to ensure the safety of those who work in them. We work with minimal supervision so staying focused and keeping on task is very important. The ability to work with extreme temperatures and hazardous substances and chemicals and staying safe while doing so is a critical part of the job. Working around rotating equipment is vital and having proper hand and body placement and proper lock out tag out is essential. We are very teamwork focused so being able to work with others is an important skill to have especially when working multiple areas in a day.

Drying, Crushing, and Pulverizing mining drill core and rc samples. Teamwork, working in high temperatures, managing fatigue, QC testing, and working around rotating equipment, and wearing proper ppe are the main tasks of this job.
