McKenna Bell

The Clinician Education Center (CEC) is a facility for graduate students to perform assessments and treatment of all ages with speech, language, cognitive, hearing and other communication disorders. My duties centered around assisting and supporting students and professors needs necessary for the clients receiving treatment.

• Created a organizational system for materials (toys, activities) to allow easy access and ensured each game had all required materials
• Helped formulate necessary materials for therapy sessions
• When instructed, participated in client activities during sessions.
• Answered and Directed phone calls and emails with patients and their families
• Cleaned materials, waiting rooms, offices, supply room, therapy rooms, ect.
• Completed tasks given by professors and directors

• Responsible for children from ages four to six.
• Prepared the classroom before the children arrived.
• Created a variety of activity stations.
• Incorporated educational activities every day.
• Cleaned and sanitized materials and classroom.

• Created a weekly lesson plan that involved a different theme each week.
• Heavily Researched and educated myself on educational activities and how to incorporate crafts with activities
• Provided additional reading materials that followed the lesson plans weekly theme.
• Created rotating stations: sensory bins, learning worksheet, structured activity, reading, free play.

• Responsible for children from grades Kindergarten through Fifth grade.
• Helped children complete their homework and managed recreational activities.
• Communicate status updates to parents, teachers, and coworkers.
• Clean and sanitize class rooms after use.
