McKenna Kurtz

At Sheri's Sweet Shoppe I did many things, I made coffee, scooped ice cream, sold and made homemade baked goods, candy, and sandwiches, assembled burgers, and fried foods. I restocked and cleaned stations and facilities to maintain cleanly and operable standards. These are just a few of the many things I have learned at all of the stations over my five years working at Sheri's. I became a manager, and have learned to train and work with young teenagers and foreign college students.

I worked at The Red Umbrella Designs for a few months during the winter time, the off season for Sheri's. While there I learned how to sell and restock merchandise, do inventory, fulfill online orders by finding exactly what the customer needed, printed out the labels, and shipped them out. Most importantly, I learned to help the customers with any questions, simple or complicated, when checking out their merchandise.
