Provided individual support to students with disabilities, and academic support. Assisted in implementing IEPs academically. Supported second-grade teachers in the classroom when classroom management was needed. Helped students with behavioral issues using positive reinforcement and structured interventions based on the IEP that was provided. Supervised students in different settings before school, during recess, and in the classroom. I obtained CPI training within the first two weeks of starting, and I hold CPR certification, mandatory reporting, and registered behavior technician certification.
Implemented behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help support children with autism, and other developmental disorders. Provided one-on-one therapy sessions using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach new skills and reduce problem behaviors. Provided positive reinforcement to encourage appropriate behavior. Completed session notes throughout therapy session. Provided toileting and diaper changes to clients throughout therapy session. I obtained my behavior technician certificate within a month of starting.
I conducted general office administrative tasks on a daily basis that included checking my email and the owner's email to see if any new or existing customers emailed to set up an appointment or needed a quote for their home. I worked on entering any credit card payments and gas receipts into the system to keep up with billing. If needed, I would help answer the phones of any customers calling with questions or concerns. On Fridays, I would send out all new invoices, either via email or mail, to customers from the previous week. I would set up all onboarding binders for any new employees; this consisted of any state and federal documents that need to be filled out on the first day of employment. Once those documents are done, I would look over them and enter any information into the system.
Assisted in taking and recording vital signs. Prepared patients for examinations and procedures by obtaining medical history and explaining the procedure process. Supported physicians during minor medical procedures. Performed a laboratory test, which included collecting and processing specimens. Maintained infection control protocols to ensure a clean environment. Scheduled appointments and managed patient records. Handled insurance paperwork.
I started out as a front desk agent doing simple tasks, such as checking in and out hotel guests. When not helping guests in person, I would answer phone calls for any future guests or call guests to make room for any big groups of guests coming in. On my off time, I would work on the daily worksheet that included printing out reports of occupancy for emergency purposes, money on hand, and any discrepancies in payments from current guests. I was then promoted to the front desk supervisor position. I still did the regular front desk agent tasks, but I picked up on marketing and trained any new guests. I was one of the points of contact if somebody called out or needed a change in their schedule. During the busy season, I worked on blocking off groups of rooms for teams and large groups, such as wedding parties and corporate groups, coming to stay. I would get key cards and welcome bags made prior to arrival to help make a smooth arrival process.
I would arrive at the field around 6:45 a.m., and would begin putting shoot bags over the growing corn. Once it got a little warmer, I would put brown bags over the tassel, and if the tassel was ready, I would pull the brown bag and place it over the corn that had the white shoot bag. On days that were really slow, we would use hoes and pull weeds to help maintain the field.
