Summary

I have been a nurse for almost a year on a Surgical PCU. I am sending an application to you in hopes that I can be a part of your team. I am extremely interested in maintaining a position on your STICU unit.

I have always been fascinated by surgery and the care that comes before, during, and after the procedure. I have a strong commitment to patient care, and a proven ability to support patients through challenging hospital stays. I am skilled at developing comprehensive post-treatment plans with patients and doctors for quality healthcare. Committed to patient education and advocacy. I am highly competent in what skills and assets are needed to be a part of a surgical floor, and I have learned so much already. I want to continue in my passion and advance my skills to better patient outcomes, and my unit. I am detail-oriented and have been wanting to go to the ICU, specifically a Surgical Trauma ICU position. I want to improve not only for my patients, but for myself, and my unit as a whole.
